Our History
2021
Implementation of the insect transformation innovation platform (PITI) to generate innovation in the entotechnology sector and to develop new eco-responsible food products.
2020
Obtaining a research license for the development of cannabinoid-infused foods and beverages. Installation of an experimental pilot brewery and distillery to develop innovation in the fermented alcoholic beverage sector in Quebec and Canada.
2019
Renovation of the pavilion grouping agricultural research activities.
2016
Development of the entotechnologies sector.
2015
Addition of a line of biofermentors to meet the needs of our biotechnology customers.
2014
Construction of new premises to accommodate tenant expansion projects in agrobiotechnology.
2012
Acquisition of cutting-edge technology, high hydrostatic pressure (HPH) treatment, to develop the innovation sector in food processing.

Construction of the agrifood incubator intended for innovation, research and development, training ITA students, and incubating businesses in food processing.

Foundation of the Quebec Agrifood Innovation Center (CDBQ), an applied research center focused on agrifood innovation to support the sector's development and transfer of knowledge to industry.
